Sea Freight Terms and Conditions

1. Cargo Receipt and Inspection

Upon arrival at the origin warehouse, the goods are recorded, counted, and quality-checked by the receiving team. Any discrepancies or damages are reported and documented. At this stage, shipment information (dimensions, weight, type of goods, and accompanying documents) is matched against the customer’s order to prevent issues in subsequent stages. If necessary, photographs and a condition report of the shipment are prepared and archived for documentation purposes.

2. Packaging and Preparation for Shipment

Depending on the type and sensitivity of the goods, standard protective packaging (boxes, pallets, shockproof or waterproof coverings) is applied, along with labeling, barcoding, and documentation. Packaging complies with hazardous material regulations, container dimensions, and shipping line requirements. Any need for special packaging or protective equipment is communicated prior to shipment to the customer. Finally, a detailed list of contents and the Packing List form are issued.

3. Loading at the Port and Issuance of Shipping Documents

After being transferred to the port, the shipment is stowed on the vessel according to the loading plan, and official documents, including the Bill of Lading (B/L) and other required paperwork, are issued. Our logistics team is responsible for issuing and verifying the documents, updating the customer on the shipment status, and recording the shipment identification information. Any changes to the loading schedule or document details are formally communicated to both the sender and the receiver.

4. International Sea Freight

The shipment is transported internationally under the coverage of reputable shipping lines, with our team overseeing the route, cargo condition, and communication with shipping agents. Tracking information and shipment status updates are provided to the customer to ensure transparency throughout the transportation process. Any uncontrollable events, such as weather conditions or port delays, are promptly reported, and alternative solutions are assessed.

5. Customs Clearance at the Destination Port

Upon arrival at the destination port, the customs clearance process is carried out by our clearance team using the required documents (B/L, Invoice, Packing List, and any special permits if needed). Any additional costs or procedures are communicated and coordinated with the customer. If supplementary documents or specific permits are required, the customer must provide them to ensure timely completion of the clearance process.

6. Final Delivery to the Customer

After customs formalities are completed, the shipment is loaded for domestic transport to the final destination and delivered. A Proof of Delivery (POD) is provided to the customer, and warehousing or staged distribution services are carried out upon request. Any damage or discrepancies at the time of delivery are recorded, and the insurance process and claim follow-up are initiated according to the contract.
